Any day now...

In case any of you are curious, as of today I am still cozy inside mom. This week I had my first test and passed with flying colors. The doctors monitored mom's prelabor contractions along with my heartbeat. Every time she had a contraction my heart rate would speed up just like it is supposed to. Mom and Dad were happy about that. My YaYa will be getting here tomorrow night. I am glad that she'll be here to meet me whenever I decide to make my debut!

Just Hanging Out Inside Mom

I've heard that lately it has been way too cold in Virginia. I think I'm going to stay inside mom until it warms up a bit. This is probably a good idea because it seems like the longer I wait the more stuff Dad buys for me. Last week he got me a nightlight that displays all the stars and constellations on the walls and ceiling of my room. It is a big ladybug, which is of course very appropriate. He also bought a glider for the nursery. It is comfy, but right now it is on a very squeaky spot on the floor!

This is me early last month. They thought Mom might be having some problems, but it turned out that I was just trying to scare her. Everything was completely fine. Although Mom and Dad had to drive out to Newport News, they did get lots of new pictures of me and a specialist estimated my size. I was in the 76th percentile. Dad asked if that meant that I'd be big and the specialist said I could weigh over 8 pounds if I kept growing at the rate I was growing. Based on mom's belly, I'd say she's right, but I'm not telling you all until I make my big debut!

My First Post

So I know that I am not even here yet, but my mom is very eagerly awaiting my arrival and decided to share some photos of my new bedroom. I can't wait to meet you all and hope to keep this up even after I arrive!

This is my crib. My mom's friends at school all chipped in and bought it for me. I think that they are pretty nice. My dad built it for me. He was surprisingly patient during the whole process!

This is my changing table. My dad built it and my mom had way too much fun arranging all of my things.
