5 weeks, Visitors, & St. Patricks Day

What a week the Hanvey family has had!
Last Tuesday I had my first playdate with Violet. She is 2 1/2 weeks older than me and already smiles a ton! And then last Wednesday I started acting a bit funny - let's just say my pipes weren't flowing as well as they usually do. Dad called my Dr. and I went in for a check up. Turned out it was nothing serious, but I did get to drink some pear juice, which I find pretty tasty. After that my Grandma and Aunt Lacey came into town. They are so much fun. They even watched me while Dad went to work and Mom got some things done at school. They had to go back to Oregon on Monday, but I really miss them and hope to see them again soon. To make things even more interesting, on Monday, Mom was pretty sick herself and went to see her doctor. He gave her medicine that she couldn't take while feeding me, so I had to switch to bottles. It was horrible at first (I contemplated a hunger strike...), but eventually I got pretty good with the bottle. Despite the busy week, by now things are starting to get back to normal.

And finally, playing some tunes with dad

My First Professional Photo Shoot

Mom and Dad took me for my first photo shoot today.
I was great - happy and awake the whole time.

And here is my whole family!

Four Weeks Old

I am four weeks old today and my Mom and Dad just cannot believe how much I have changed this past month. I had my first bath, my first day in the snow, and even rolled from my belly to my back to both my own and my momma's amazement. (I was on the couch so now we are working on doing it on the floor - it is a bit more difficult, but I almost have it). I have also outgrown most of my newborn size clothes and all of my newborn size booties and shoes. I even outgrew my sleep positioner (who new that was possible?). I may even be too long for some of my three month clothes in the next couple of weeks. Lastly, I have officially moved into my own crib. But with this change, I have also stopped sleeping for long stretches at night (I gave the parents 3 weeks of sleeping very well with only a little snack from 12am - 6am...). Now I wake up at 3am for a couple of hours each night, but they are pretty nice about it... Here are some recent photos:

This is me and Jackie playing together (she was copying me).
Here I am holding onto my pacifier.
Now if I could only figure out how to get it into my mouth on my own...
Here I am just being my adorable self.
Doing baby exercises...
And in my favorite purple outfit (Thank you auntie Sarah!). Just so you can see how much I've grown, I am wearing these same pants in the photo below with Daddy feeding me and they were huge.
And sleeping like an angel!

First (and possibly last) Winter Snow!

Although it is already March 2nd, Williamsburg just got its first real snow of the season. Mom got the day off from school and Dad was already off work. I am really not a fan of snowflakes hitting my face, but they took me outside to see how I felt. Let me share my experience with y'all:

Here I am all suited up and ready to go.
Does this remind anyone of Randy Parker in A Christmas Story?
"I can't put my arms down!..."

This is me outside in the snow.

This was pretty much my general sentiment throughout the whole ordeal:
