Lots of Trips

Hi Everyone.
Let me tell you, I have been one busy baby lately!

A few weeks ago I went down to Austin with Mom and Dad. I met my aunt Sarah who is so cool. She isn't technically my aunt, but she shares my birthday and is one of mom's oldest and closest friends so the title seems appropriate. She played with me quite a bit and came back to Dallas with us.

(Aunt Sarah: My Mom didn't take enough pictures so when you come back to California, we'll take a better one together. Believe it or not, this is the only one of you from your trip. I told her not to post it, but she wouldn't listen...)

I also saw my Grandma Shea and Grandpa Steve. Of course Uncle Brock and Uncle Zane played with me a lot too.

Then I came out to California. I did very well on the airplane ride, but man is it cold here compared to Dallas! I met my Great Grandpa (Bill) and Grams (Kit). The were fun and even let me swim in their pool. I LOVED it!
I also finally met Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Elisa. They are way more fun in person then on Skype. They make me smile and laugh all the time.
This weekend I leave for Lake Tahoe. More photos to come.
So many places for such a little lady...

My six month photo shoot.

This one is my favorite :-).
Family Photo.

Standing on one foot with only one hand... Ok so I fell a second later, but this is pretty cool...

Being cutesy.

Scaling the wall like Spiderman, but it looks like I'm crawling...

Hey those are my shoes

Mom says that this is my Supermodel Vogue shot...

Me and my Daddy.

Me and my mama

All I wanted to do at the photo shoot for about 15 minutes was eat this chair

Just loungin' in my bikini.

This is such a typical expression for me...

"What?"

And the standard pose. I'm a pro at sitting now.
PS: I went to the doctor Friday for my six month check up. Apparently I am doing pretty good crawling already and the doctor said I can have three baby meals a day! Also, for the record I now weigh 15 pounds 14 ounces (50th percentile), am 26 1/4 inches long (75th percentile), and have a head that is 17 inches around (70th percentile).

Cute shoes and close ups...

Well everyone, my mom has officially been home with me everyday for a week now. We go running in the mornings, take walks to the store or to Starbucks, play on the floor, nap together in the afternoons, and even go swimming when it is not too hot. I love it! Here are my latest pictures:

My grandma Linda bought me these shoes. I'm still trying to get used to wearing them, but I love to tear them off my feet and play with them!
And here are some cute close ups. My mom loves my blue eyes...

First Foods and Big Furry Friends!

So Mom and Dad finally let me have grown up food (well sort of...). They gave me rice cereal (see below) followed by green beans. So far I've also had carrots and squash. I think I like carrots best. I love eating anything from a spoon though.

Dad has been bugging Mom to get me this giant Nemo. When YaYa was out we went to a new mall with a Disney store. The stuffed animals were buy one get one free so I got Sully too! I love them so much!!!

At the mall Yaya bought me some new high tops. They're pretty cool. Mom's being silly hiding behind me. Thanks Yaya!

Giggle Girl!

Now I can sit up all by myself. I figured it out this week and refuse to lay down anymore. I can also pull myself up and stand, but I am still pretty wobbly on my legs. I am trying to chew myself out of this pack and play, but YaYa and Mom just think it is so darn funny!

Happy family! (May parents are so weird...)

This is my new friend Riley. She came and played with me last weekend. We even went to a Rodeo.
And my laugh. Mom says this is hilarious at the end!

First Fourth, Highchairs, and Scooting Around

This was my first Fourth of July. I went to Fair Park with my mom and dad. There were carnival games (I won a stuffed purple cow), drinks (I had water from mommy's bottle, it was fun!), band music (which I loved!) and fireworks (that were just amazing...).

And here is the high chair that my YaYa bought me. I love it because now I can sit at the table with everyone while they eat dinner. it even has built in toys!
Mom was trying to teach me how to play wooden spoon drums, but I preferred to just eat the spoons. She's silly spoons are for eating, not for music...
Any my smiley little self in my new yellow dress. Mommy and daddy left me in the living room for a second and I scooted myself right under the cabinet. I even got stuck. It was FUN!

Getting bigger, bolder, and louder!

This has been an interesting week for me. My mom is starting to get serious about this Bar Exam studying stuff, which I am not liking so much. She leaves for school earlier and earlier every afternoon and by 8 or 9 at night I am ready to see her again. She also started taking me to a daycare at a gym a couple of times a week. I like seeing the other kids, but don't like it when she first leaves. I guess I am learning a little independence, but it is no fun! At least tomorrow is 4th of July and I'll get to see my first fireworks display! Also, my YaYa will be here in about a week, so that should be pretty fun. Well anyway, here are a few pictures from the past couple week:

I can hold myself up with absolutely no problems. I even dive off of couches and have begun to learn the art of crawling...

I have no clue why Jackie got on my blanket. I do like petting her though. I smile and laugh whenever I see her.

Ok. Enough with the flashes mom.
