Life With A Little Sis.

Life with a little sister sure is hectic - I haven't been able to blog for nearly 3 months! Things have been going great with Layla and I though. In January, we went to the Great Wolf Lodge to check out the water slides (I like to call this place the "water slide hotel" and it is fantastic!). In February, I turned 3 and had a Princess party. It was a blast! Esther also came to stay with us for a week right after my party. Then, we went to California to visit Yaya, Opa Horst, Grandpa Doug, Grandma Vera, Jonathan, Elisa, Sarah, Esther, and tons of other friends - we stayed for 3 whole weeks. I had a blast. We also went up to Oregon to see Grandma K, Grandpa Joel, Aunt Lacie and Uncle Jeremiah (whom I refer to as "Uncle Mike" for some reason...). While there, we went to the snow and I was able to meet my Great grandparents for the very first time. Here are a few photos of me and my little sis!

Christmas Holiday

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This was a great Christmas. I got to spend it with my mom, my dad, my Yaya and Opa Horst, and Layla. Santa Claus brought me a BIG bucket of Playdough, a Barbie movie, and a new kitchen. It was great. Check it all out below.

Layla Carolyn Hanvey Has Arrived!!!

I am now a big sister and I love it. My little sister, Layla (or "Laya" as I like to call her), arrived on November 23, 2011 at 9:03 a.m. She was 6 ponds 6 ounces, 19 1/4 inches and adorable. She slept a lot her first week here, but is starting to wake up more now.

Wedding Weekend

Last weekend we all went down to San Antonio for Melissa and Joseph's Wedding. It was very fun. I played with bubbles, swang on a giant swing outside, ran down a huge hill (many times) and danced my booty off. I loved i! Congrats Melissa and Joseph!

My Modeling Days...

My dad got a new camera.

We bought a new lens.

And it has been MUCH cooler in Texas these days.

Needless to say, I am working on my modeling.

(Also working on my tree climbing - this is much harder than it looks!)

Mexican Vacation! (And Little California Beforehand)

Mommy, Daddy, and I just got back from a week-long trip to Puerto Vallarta. It was great!

I held a monkey on my head, kissed a dolphin, and swam in the ocean.

I had some great blue candy. It took a few teeth brushings that night to get me back to my pearly whites...

Our housekeeper loved me and kept me well stocked with towel animals.

Before Mexico, I got to go to Santa Cruz with YaYa, Opa Horst, Esther, Moses, and Aunt Nancy. Thanks for playing in the sand with me Esther (and thank you for all the rides Opa). I even rode a couple of roller coasters!

I also got to see my Grandpa Doug and ate blackberries off a bush in his backyard.
