Visit to Austin!

So this week Mom, Dad, and I moved from Virginia to Dallas. We stayed in a hotel with my cousin, Esther, for a few days and then drove down to Houston where I met my Great aunt Kathy and my cousins Justin and Stephanie (photos of that to come, my mom hasn't downloaded them yet...). I also went to Austin and met my Grandpa Steve, Grandma Shea, and my uncles, Brock and Zane. While I was there I had quite a few "firsts." I rolled over from my belly to my back and then later that night from my back to my belly. I also learned how to grab onto my blanket and pull myself around, but once I am off of the blanket, I'm not quite sure how to keep scooting. I also started talking quite a bit more. I babble very loudly know whenever mom and dad and I go out to stores. All these strangers think it is pretty cute! Anyhow, here are some photos from Austin:

Here is my fist swim. I love my Daddy!

And here are my uncles Brock and Zane. They are so silly!

And my latest hobby - eating both hands at once!

And finally my great aunt Dena!

Mommy's Graduation Weekend

So Mom is finally done with Law School. We had to go to a few boring ceremonies over the weekend, but I did finally get to meet my Grandpa Doug and Grandma Vera. Here are all of us after the big day.
And here is mom in her silly hat and gown:

Starting to sit up...

So I haven't gotten it down quite yet, but I am really working on my sitting up skills. I've also been enjoying Melissa, my Grandpa Doug, and my Grandma Vera's visit. More photos of that to come. Anyhow - here are some recent photos.

Sitting in my momma's lap...

And sitting with this little creature Allison made for Melissa. He travels all around the country and even came to see me!

Almost sitting up all alone...

And singing in the camera!

12 Pound 7 Ounces!

Yes, you read that right. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and weighed in at 12 lbs. 7 oz. Mom thought that I had grown after I ate pretty much every hour for a few days there. You can tell how big I'm getting from my cute baby cheeks in this photo:
We also found out for sure that I am allergic to soy. My mom is allergic to cow's milk, so this was a pretty interesting finding. Now she eats rice milk and I personally like it MUCH better.

Here I am in my motorcycle rally gear. Thanks dad!

And playing on my tummy!
And passed out after some good drinking with dad...

Getting Strong!

I can't believe that I am coming up on three months old! I am getting so tall that my six month pants are the only ones that seem to be the right length, but they just slide right off my waste. My silly mom keeps sticking me in 3 month high-waters. At least I don't go to school yet...
Everyday I play more and more. I love grabbing at my toys now and am beginning to learn how to make some of them play music. I love dancing around with mom or dad I am a big fan of the Beatles, Kanye West, and Journey - I know, what a range!. I also love staring in mirrors (I am a cutie after all!)
Well, as you can see I have total control of this big noggin on my shoulders. Now I am working on my push ups (gotta tone up those biceps before bikini season ya know...)

And I know it is a bit big, but I really do enjoy this thing (Thank you Uncle Jonathan & Auntie Elisa!!!)
Aren't I just adorable!

And finally here is a video Dad made of me bouncing about.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today was daddy's birthday. We woke up early and went out to breakfast. Then we went to Toys R Us and bought some toys for the car and for the pool in Texas this summer. I can't wait to try swimming. Here are some photos from the weekend:
This is the cake I made for Dad

Here I am after running with mom. I love my jogger.

Check out my new pink converse!
And working on that roll over thing with dad.
My folks just do not seem to understand how much this position frustrates me.

And finally catching some Zzzs after playing with my toys!
